New York’s Committee for Physician Health (CPH), which provides confidential and non-punitive care to physicians with addiction, burnout and mental illness, is at risk for losing funding in the FY2024-25 state budget. The CPH helps physicians safely return to delivering patient care, so the loss of funding could affect access to vital healthcare in the state.
