There has been an addition to the NYSAM Bylaws, Chapter III, based on ASAM recommendations. Please review the following and share any questions or comments by November 13th, at which point the Bylaws will be finalized.
Region I (NYS) Director to the ASAM BOD
The Region I Director, representing NYS, to the ASAM National BOD, shall be elected according to processes outlined by the ASAM BOD Bylaws. The Region I Director shall have a seat on the NYSAM BOD for the duration of their term on the ASAM BOD (4 years) to facilitate as a liaison between NYSAM members, the NYSAM BOD, and the ASAM BOD.
