Part-Time (60%; 22.5 hours per week, Tu, Th, Fr 10am-6pm)
The Nurse Practitioner will be hired by Mount Sinai Hospital to work at a part-time Mount Sinai clinic at VOCAL-NY in Brooklyn, New York (300 Douglass Street). VOCAL-NY provides onsite and peer-based syringe exchange, overdose prevention, hepatitis C and HIV education, drug treatment education and other services for people who use drugs. Services are provided in a low-threshold, nonjudgmental, and culturally relevant manner. Clinical care will be provided at VOCAL-NY through low-threshold onsite and telemedicine care, health promotion, and care coordination. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with general internists, addiction medicine specialists, and hepatologists at Mount Sinai Hospital who are experts in providing HCV and addiction treatment.
