Full Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will oversee a M.A.T. program and requires appropriate experience and education.

Review medical history, examines patients, orders tests, evaluates patient and makes diagnosis, discuss results, administer treatments, prescribe medications, conducts follow up exams, records information, diagnosis, prescription, treatments and patient response to treatment. Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues. Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health. Conducts sick call; ask intuitive questions to discover causes of illness. Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history. Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities. Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration. Refer patients to medical specialists as appropriate.

SKILLS

  • Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid license to practice the profession
  • M.A.T. / O.T.P. experience REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects, and contraindications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient’s confidentiality
  • Responsible and trustworthy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $149,261.00 – $186,835.00 per year
